A small family farm with deep roots in southern Michigan.

Carpenter's Greenhouse & Produce is a working family farm on West Chicago Road in Allen — the kind of place where the greenhouse door stays propped open in May and the egg basket fills up before breakfast.

We grow vegetable starts and flowers under glass, raise rows of produce out in the field, gather eggs from a small flock of hens, keep bees for honey, tap our maples in late winter, and bake from the farmhouse kitchen when there's time between rows.

Everything we sell is grown, gathered or baked here or by a trusted neighbor down the road. That's what "locally sourced" actually means to us.
